“The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR certified therapist with over 20 years working in the mental health field. My experience includes counseling in a rape crisis center, the foster care system, an outpatient center in a medical hospital, and the public school system. I have been offering therapy through private practice since 2014.
I’m originally from Southern California, an out member of the LGBTQ+ community, a woodworker and an avid road and trail runner and triathlete. A years-long Kentucky resident, I am licensed to provide both in-person and telehealth services in Kentucky and Indiana.
I believe it is important to work collaboratively with each of my clients to determine what combination of approaches or techniques will best address their particular needs. I take a systemic view of each client and the issues they come to work on, meaning that I will consider the different systems in which each person lives, works, and plays as we work together.
Two approaches that I find particularly useful for many of my clients are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Prime Energy Activation (PEAT).
